YG Registered SUV Involved In Police Shootout

Story Via XXL - YG might have just been linked to a Compton shootout.

According to L.A.'s ABC7 Eyewitness News, the shootout began to unfold after deputies from the Los Angeles County tried to pull over a black Cadillac Escalade for reckless driving on Wednesday (July 4). The outlet says police told them that the car is registered to YG.

When the deputies tried to pull over the car, someone or someones inside of the vehicle fired shots at them. The shootout reportedly left one officer shot and an innocent bystander dead. At some point during the shootout, the suspects fled in the vehicle and led deputies on a chase from Compton to Inglewood, Calif.

After more shots were fired at the police cars and a police helicopter during the chase, authorities ended up apprehending one suspect. However, they believe another suspect is still on the run.

While the police cars involved in the chase were riddled with bullets, the SUV purportedly owned by YG didn't suffer significant damage due to the fact that the vehicle is equipped with "aftermarket bulletproof glass" and armor. As of this report, police aren't sure whether YG was actually in the car at the time of the shooting. However, they are still hunting for the other suspect and investigating the 4Real 4Real rapper's connection to the suspects.

Swedish prosecutors are asking a judge to allow them to hold ASAP Rocky for 2 weeks while they investigate the alleged INCIDENT

It doesn't look like Swedish authorities have any plans of releasing A$AP Rocky anytime soon. Prosecutors have asked a judge to keep Rocky in custody for a while so they can investigate the case. In Sweden, police are generally only allowed to keep you for three days so it's clear that Rocky is a target right now.

A$AP Rocky's bodyguard will be released due to "insufficient evidence" but the rapper himself is being kept for the time being. If he's convicted of the crime, he can spend up to six years in prison.
