Looks like Cassie's lawsuit against Diddy has officially been settled , according to TMZ. As we previously reported, Cassie alleged that the musician and entrepreneur raped her and forced her to have sex with male prostitutes and other uncanny acts.
The news publication received court documents stating that the case has officially come to an end. "Pursuant to an agreement between the parties, Plaintiff hereby dismisses this action, with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party."
As we previously reported, Cassie filed the lawsuit last Thursday but the next day the two announced in a statement that they had settled the lawsuit. Cassie shared, "I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support." Diddy's statement read, "We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love."
However, in a second statement provided to CBS News Saturday, Ben Brafman, an attorney for Combs said: "Just so we're clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs' decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.".
