The shocking incident unfolded when Jack's 18-day-old daughter tested positive for ethylene glycol, a chemical commonly found in automotive antifreeze, while at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite Hospital. The infant's critical condition sparked an investigation by South Fulton police, ultimately leading to Jack's arrest on October 16, 2020.
Details emerged that painted a troubling picture of Jack's relationship with the infant's mother. Reportedly, he had pressured her to terminate the pregnancy, but she chose to carry the child to term.
