Botham Jean’s Neighbor Who Testified Against Dallas Cop Shot Dead

Botham Jean's neighbor -- who testified against Amber Guyger, the Dallas cop who gunned down BJ in his own apartment -- has now been killed ... days after the guilty verdict.

Joshua Brown was discovered Friday night in Dallas after what appears to be a drive-by shooting, according to local reports. Officers reportedly found Joshua on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds at an apartment complex in Turtle Creek.

Eyewitness told police they saw a silver, 4-door sedan speeding through the parking lot of the complex after the shots rang out. No suspects or motive have been identified as of yet.

Cops hadn't even publicly ID'd the victim, but an attorney for Botham's family confirmed on Facebook that it was, in fact, Joshua. He died from his injuries at a hospital.

Of course, Joshua's death comes less than a week after Amber herself was found guilty of murdering Botham in 2018 -- when she entered his unit, supposedly thinking it was hers, and shot him dead. She got 10 years in prison for it, but was forgiven by Botham's brother.

Ex Dallas Cop Amber Guyger Found Guilty Of Black Neighbor’s Murder

The fired Dallas police officer who fatally shot her black neighbor was found guilty of murder on Tuesday.

Amber Guyger, 31, was convicted in Dallas court in the killing of 26-year-old Botham Jean, whom she claims she mistook for an intruder when she entered his apartment instead of her own in September 2018.

The jury deliberated for less than a day before reaching the verdict in the case.

The ex-cop broke down as she took the stand Friday in the trial about the night that she gunned down her unarmed neighbor with her service weapon.

“I wish he had had the gun and had killed me,” a tearful Guyger testified. “I hate that I have to live with this every single day of my life. I’ve asked God for forgiveness.”

Prosecutors, however, have argued that it was “absurd” for Guyger to suggest that she didn’t know she was in the wrong apartment. They claim she was distracted by a phone conversation with her partner in the force — with whom she was having an affair.

“Most of what she said was garbage,” Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Jason Fine said Monday.

Guyger was arrested three days after Jean’s killing and fired from the force.

She faces up to 99 years in prison on the murder charge.

Blac Youngsta Arrested On Felony Weapon Charges In Houston

Blac Youngsta is behind bars in Houston after cops say the rapper was carrying prohibited ammo when they pulled over a car in which he was a passenger.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Youngsta and 3 friends were driving around H-Town Wednesday afternoon in a GMC Yukon -- with BY in the backseat -- when cops pulled 'em over for running a red light. We're told the officers smelled marijuana, so they searched the car and found 3 pistols and weed.

According to the criminal complaint, Youngsta is charged with felony possession of a prohibited weapon -- specifically, armor-piercing ammunition. It's unclear if the ammo was loaded in a handgun or separate.

We're told another passenger, Marcus Dion Cartwright, was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon. The 2 other people in the vehicle were NOT charged.
