Nipsey Hussle's Marathon Clothing Store Has Reportedly Made $10 Million Since His Death

Since Nipsey Hussle's death, the Marathon clothing store has reportedly experienced a major boost in sales.

According to XXL, the rapper's team has confirmed that more than $10 million worth of clothes and accessories have been purchased from the store. After Hussle was murdered in the store's parking lot on March 31, fans, supporters, and colleagues flocked to the store to pay tribute. But despite the influx of visitors, the bulk of the sales have come from hoodies, hats, and t-shirts purchased online.

Though the massive amount of sales have slowed production and shipping at the Marathon store, they are thankful for the support, and announced that the physical location will be shut down while they play catch up.

Young Thug Not The Target In Shooting, Spokesperson Claims

They say Thugger wasn't at the scene of the shooting.

Earlier today we reported on the shooting that involved Young Thug in Miami. The rapper was reportedly in his Ferrari on Interstate 95 followed by two buses filled with members of his entourage when a vehicle pulled alongside them and opened fire. TMZ claimed that there were no fatalities in the shooting, but three people were transported to a nearby hospital to treat non-life threatening injuries.

While initial reports stated that Thugger was at the scene but not hurt, however, a spokesperson for the rapper has followed up to assert that the 27-year-old was not at the location when the incident occurred. According to the spokesperson, Thug " "did not get shot at...somebody took a shot at the car DJ Keyz was in. He is fine. It was a minor injury and not serious. Young Thug was long gone and not involved."

This one of a handful of near-miss shootings involving rappers as of late. Migos rapper Offset was allegedly recording at the Crossover Entertainment Group studio in Atlanta when it was attacked by a barrage of bullets. Last month, Waka Flocka Flame was reportedly shot at when he, along with approximately a dozen others, were entering an Atlanta recording studio. The entourage was able to avoid injury aside from one man named Timothy Nickson who was shot in the right arm.
