Less than 24 hours after turning himself in to police custody in Atlanta, the city's WSBTV reports that Lil Durk has been denied bond and that the rapper believes he's innocent of the five felony charges leveled against him.
Speaking to the local news outlet in an interview conducted in his lawyer's office just before he turned himself in to Fulton County Jail on Thursday (May 30), Durk kept things to the point. "I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to run from," Durk said when asked why he was choosing to surrender to police.
Elsewhere in the brief interview, Durk reveals that he actually learned there was a warrant for his arrest while he was on tour. The outlet reports that he subsequently canceled the remainder of his tour and flew to Atlanta to surrender to police. His legal team is currently working to set up a bond so he can be released from Fulton County Jail.
