Diddy Requests Extension in Response to Jane Doe's Allegations

Sean "Diddy" Combs, along with former Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre, is embroiled in a legal battle following a shocking gang rape lawsuit filed by an accuser known as Jane Doe. The alleged incident dates back to 2003 at Diddy's recording studio, Daddy's House.

Jane Doe claims the traumatic events began in a Michigan lounge, where she was forced into oral sex while Pierre smoked crack. After a phone conversation with Diddy, she was flown to New York on a private jet, where she alleges further sexual assault occurred at the studio. At the time, Jane Doe was 17 years old.

Seeking anonymity in the lawsuit due to safety concerns and Diddy's high profile, Jane Doe is facing opposition from Diddy and Pierre, who challenge her attempt to remain anonymous.

The legal timeline set by the judge initially required Diddy and Pierre to file their replies by December 27. However, Diddy's lawyer, Jonathan Davis, has requested an extension, citing confidential circumstances beyond the control of the Combs Defendants. The proposed modification seeks an extension of the filing deadline to January 17, 2024, for the defendants, and a reply deadline extension to January 31, 2024, for the plaintiff.

The case continues to unfold, raising questions about the handling of sensitive allegations in the realm of high-profile figures within the music industry.
